Ariana Sotoropolis

Inspired by the 2006 Olympics, Ariana picked up Learn to Skate in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio at age 11. She skated and competed minimally as a kid due to financial constraints, but returned to the sport after college to learn her double jumps. Her passion and desire to train competitively grew when she found the CitySkate coaching team and she shifted from Adult competitions to the National Qualifying Series. She aims to inspire other adults and kids who are late-bloomers and prove that age is not prohibitive. In her 30s she plans on learning a clean double axel, triple sal, and triple toe.
