Elysée Wiles

Elysée (pronounced Ella-say) was born just outside of Nashville, in Murfreesboro, TN, and still resides there. She began skating at age 6, starting out by skating with her family at various public skate events. As her interest peaked, she enrolled in Scott Hamilton's Learn to Skate program with her sister, and things took off from there. Elysée developed a passion for skating and wanted more. She enrolled in the SHARP4SPORTS program, now CitySkate Nashville, to develop her skills even further. She began competing around the age of 7, and the competition aspect is definitely her favorite part of skating. Outside of skating, she is involved in competitive dance, focusing primarily on hip-hop, modern jazz, and ballet. She also stays quite active in tumbling. She loves to incorporate tumbling techniques into her skating routines, already doing 1 and 2 handed cartwheels on ice, with her ultimate goal of eventually doing a backflip on ice! Elysée loves to perform, whether it is a skating competition or a dance recital. She loves being the center of attention and does not shy away from the spotlight. Elysée has a younger sister, Elistyn, who is also a CitySkate athlete, and a younger brother, Eilon. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, soccer, swimming, watching movies, playing outside with friends, and eating all kinds of sweets! Her favorite figure skaters are Alysa Liu and Ilia Malinin.
