Emma Yinuo Li

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Emma started skated at the age of six. She initially became interested in the sport through her dad, Li, who would always watch the most elite skaters compete on TV. Seeing these elite skaters on the big screen was exactly the inspiration Emma needed to take her first steps on the ice. After two years of skating, Emma landed her Axel and joined the USFS Axel Club on June 7th, 2024. This year, Emma achieved her season's goal of landing all her double jumps (excluding her Double Axel) before Christmas, 2025! She hopes to one day go the Olympics and strives to be the first woman to land a Quad Axel. When she's not training, you can find Emma reading a great book or playing with her dogs, Happy and Laila.
